Candies are fun! They are both fun to make and fun to eat, of course. There is something in candies for everyone. If you don’t like sweets – consider making salty candies.

I love making new kinds of candies and tackling the technical issues. They are all fun but I must admit my favorites are the salty-sweet candies as well as fruit candies (which are especially easy to make).

One thing you definitely learn is to “be prepared” when making candies. Just like in the scouts if you are not ready in advance it will spoil your candy. Making candies is both fun and fast and in 20 minutes you can have your candies and do the dishes… but you have to be focused and prepare all the ingredients in advance.

I will also add pages on tools and techniques. These are both simple to make or cheap to buy (ebay, aliexpress, to name my two best sources, and of course local shops).

Starting this November, I will try and add another type of candy every week to the website. I will list the ingredients required and how to make them, technical notes and warnings about what to do and how to make the candies. All this information will also be available on my youtube channel.
