Ice creams
Hi everyone!
Home made ice creams are easy, FAST, and fit your very personal flavour!
You can modify your ice cream in any way you like so you can get the exact flavour your heart desires. The rich ice cream flavour can be topped off with chocolate, mint candies, gummy bears and anything else you fancy!
People tend to think making ice creams is a bother and a time consuming effort – it is not! As a matter of fact, most home made ice creams can be done in 20 minutes flat, and I’ve included the time it takes to make the dishes!
Of course you can complicate things – making a very complex ice creams – but I find it to be less ideal. In my opinion if you pass a certain threshold of flavours and ingredients you add the more of a blended flavour you get. The KISS concept works well with ice creams. That being said – you can mix a whole range of ingredients successfully as long as you have a main theme. Fore example – think of a fudge chocolate ice cream – sure, we can simply add some chocolate to the mix and it will be just fine! But you will get a much richer flavour if you use a 70% coco chocolate bar, add some coco butter and spice it up with a little bit of honey, nugat, and maybe a dash of cinnamon. Lot’s of ingredients – true – but most of them play a second role to the chocolate as a spice!
Note: You can make ice creams without an ice cream maker – but then it really is a long and labourious project as you have to mix/stirr your cream mix every 10minutes or so untill it freezes solid. I would avoid that – ice cream makers are now cheap (as lows as 50$) and if you want the higher end of the ice cream makers use a refrigerated version (but those are costly).
Recipes will be listed in this bar and I hope you give them a try. If you do try these – please write a note or comment either here or in any of my other content media. I would love to hear of your experience – be it failiures or successes.
