OK… I’ll admit it – I buy commercial jams too!<\/p>\n

That being said – I LOVE making my own jams. They are not just a wonderful way to preserve fruits but also make wonderfully sweet sandwiches for the kids (err… I’m a big kid too – right?), a quick snack if you want something sweet, wonderful filling for sponge cakes and so on. Of course you can make candies out of (most of) the jams.<\/p>\n

I’m not an expert in jam making – and unlike the experts that make large batches that last for years – I’d prefer making small batches without the fuss of sterilizing my containers. I just store my jams in the refrigerator till I’m done with these and make a new batch from the current seasonal fruits I have at hand!<\/p>\n
